The journey towards creating Skyn Iceland’s naturally healing products was a personal one for their founder, Sarah. After becoming critically ill from chronic stress, Sarah traveled to Iceland to surround herself with the healing properties of the pure, clean, unspoiled environment. After spending nearly 20 years in the beauty industry developing products for high-end beauty companies and after her own experiences with stress, Sarah had became intrigued by the connection between stress and our skins’ health. Following extensive research into dermatology, nutrition, psychology and holistic medicine, Skyn Iceland was founded using the potent, nutrient-rich ingredients naturally found in Iceland’s water, plants and thriving eco system and was the first skin care brand developed to specifically target and correct the negative effects that stress has on our skin.
